I wanted everything single item on the menu!! It was so authentic and flavorful; I felt like I was back in Greece. The servings are generous and flavorful, the staff were extremely attentive and so kind. As they are still new, they’re working on getting things like heater lamps, music, and other fun decor to liven the atmosphere. They are also working on plans to open for lunch! Run don’t walk to this amazing restaurant.
We had an excellent experience here, with the food being outstanding, the service truly next level, and a beautiful modern atmosphere all around. Everything looked so good on the menu, we ended up ordering too much and we almost ate it all anyway. The chicken with some of the most juicy and tender that I’ve ever had at a restaurant! We will definitely come back, and bring all of our friends. This is exactly the kind of restaurant we needed in the Marina!
I had an amazing dining experience at this charming Greek restaurant in San Francisco Marina. The olive oil served at every table was exceptional and truly elevated the meal. For appetizers, the meatballs were incredibly delicious, bursting with flavor. As for the main course, the sea bass was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth—just like cotton candy! To top it all off, the Greek baklava served for dessert was unlike any I’ve had before—it was simply fantastic! A special shoutout to Ali and Cemile for their warm hospitality. They made me feel right at home, and I truly appreciate their attentiveness. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Visiting SF from St. Louis, Missouri and had amazing authentic Greek food at Milos!
We loved the avgolemono soup, spanakopita, moussaka, and Greek salad. The owner and staff personally introduced themselves to us which was very special. They only use organic olive oil too. Will be back when visiting for sure!
Went in on a whim, didn’t regret it at all! For those that know me, ⭐⭐⭐⭐ is an amazing review.
We got the chicken souvlaki, fries, and dolmades. Chicken was perfectly cooked, dolmades was great, but the fried were only “fine”.
Will come back on a date!
A Delightful Taste of Greece in the Heart of San Francisco
I recently dined at Milos Meze and was thoroughly impressed. I started with the Feta Psiti—baked roasted feta with tomatoes and olive oil—which was absolutely divine, and followed with the Oktapodi, a perfectly grilled Spanish octopus seasoned with lemon, oregano, and olive oil. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and captured the authentic flavors of Greek cuisine. Each meal comes with freshly baked pita bread, a small selection of grilled olives, and their signature “Spicy Hitipiti”—a roasted bell pepper, walnut, and feta dip. While I didn’t find the spread particularly spicy, it was incredibly flavorful and delicious, the perfect accompaniment to the pita and olives. Their wine selection is equally impressive, featuring a thoughtfully curated variety of wines from Greece, Italy, Napa, and other renowned wine regions. I sampled two different Greek wines, both exceptional, and appreciated the focus on quality and authenticity. The service was warm, friendly, and family-like, making me feel instantly comfortable even though I was dining alone. The dining space is beautifully designed, offering an inviting and elegant atmosphere. With an extensive menu of authentic Greek dishes, Milos Meze is easily the best Greek dining experience I’ve had in a long time. I’m already looking forward to returning with friends the next time I’m in San Francisco. Highly recommend!
My husband's grandparents came to San Francisco from Greece and opened a market on Clay and Leavenworth in 1920.
We celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary at Milo's Meze on Monday evening. The service was impeccable and the food was the best we have ever had, absolutely delicious. The atmosphere kept us celebrating for two hours.
My husband was impressed with the Baklava
and he grew up eating his grandmother's Greek desserts. I loved the rice pudding!
