Milos Meze | Our Story

A Greek Taste, Found in San Francisco

Milos Meze was born from a love of the Greek islands — their food, their light, and the belief that every meal is worth gathering around. We brought that spirit to San Francisco's Marina District.
Named for an Island

Named for an Island

Milos is a small Cycladic island where the sea is impossibly blue and the food breathtakingly simple — fresh fish, good olive oil, herbs grown close to the kitchen. That island gave us our name and the philosophy at the heart of everything we cook.

The First Thing We Serve

Before you order a single dish, warm pita arrives with a creamy, garlic-forward spread — our way of saying welcome. It is a small gesture that sets the tone: you are not just a guest here, you are family.

The Meze Way of Eating

Greek food is designed for the table — for conversation, for reaching across and trying one more thing. From moussaka and souvlaki to delicate seafood and bright herb-laced mezes, every dish invites you to stay a little longer.

We sit in the heart of the Marina, steps from the Palace of Fine Arts and Marina Green. With a 4.9-star rating across more than 400 reviews, what guests remember most is how they felt when they walked in.
Come Sit Outside

Come Sit Outside

When the San Francisco sun cooperates, our blue-canopied patio on Chestnut Street comes alive — striped chairs, marble tables, wine, and the easy hum of a neighborhood at ease. We invite you to join us, inside or out.
